Stesen Sentral Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur Sentral, Malaysia's dynamic new transportation and commercial hub is not just a center of vibrant growth but also a new global destination. KL Sentral, located at the fringes of the city's central business district offers a sophisticated rail network system with links to air and surface transportation.

KL Sentral is where the KTM's Intercity and Komuter services, Express Rail Link's KLIA Express and KLIA Transit and the PUTRA Light Rail Transit systems converge. Eventually the KL Monorail services will also commence from this futuristic center.

This teeming rail network will be surrounded by commercial development that includes high-rise office buildings, hotels, urban residential areas, an integrated retail and sports center as well as a multi-purpose indoor events facility.

KL Sentral is a city-within-a-city with hassle-free access roads that link the city and beyond. It has also received international approval and has been designated the 3-letter international destination code YKL by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

With its contemporary and international design, as well as extensive landscaping, KL Sentral exudes a harmonious coexistence of humanity and its environment. It blends functionality with technology and accessibility and stands tall as a symbol of national pride and prestige.

Express Rail Link

The Kuala Lumpur City Air Terminal of KL CAT, officially recognized as a city destination by International Air Travel Association (IATA) with its XKL code for transfers and baggage is well supported by an integrated express rail transit system, KLIA Express and KLIA Transit.

The KLIA Express is a non-stop high-speed rail service between KL Sentral and KLIA, departing every 15 minutes from both terminal with the journey taking 28 minutes. The KLIA Transit is a rapid transit service that makes three stops along key townships and integrated with KTM Komuter, STAR LRT and the Monorail systems. It departs every half-an-hour from both terminals with a total journey of 36 minutes.

Travelers with a valid KLIA Express ticket will be issued with a flight boarding pass and luggage claim tag upon checking-in two hours before flight departure. KLIA Express air-conditioned carriages are equipped with all the required amenities including ample luggage storage areas. Special allocation is also made for the physically challenged travelers.

Indeed, backed by highly sophisticated technology, the Express Rail Link promises to be fast, reliable and comfortable.
